Entertaining and good movie. Not a lot of WOWs, but more that's cool kind of stuff.
I did see the 3D and that added a little more. My buddy was impressed that they kept 3D in the movie more so than other movies.
They introduce one character that makes you wonder if they are in the process of setting up a potential Justice League movie, much like Marvel is doing the Avenger movie.
And I did not stay to the very very very end, but there is a bonus scene shortly after the "end" of the movie. Of course, it's rather obvious what the scene is going to be, before the movie was released.

Yea this was better then I thought it was going to be, great job on the CG for, well almost everything, didnt like the way the bad guy went out but otherwise a pretty solid movie, not up to the likes of Thor or X-Men, but not bad for a DC movie not named Batman. 3.75/5 Not being into DC stuff who was this? Perhaps it was something so obvious that I overlooked it or was looking for Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne and just missed it

Most of my DC Comics comes from Justice League and Justice League Unlimited (and The Super Friends Saturday cartoons), so not sure how close the cartoon and Smallville are to the comic books. I was more of a Marvel comic book person.
Amanda Waller is the person, and she's a villian. In Smallville she's part of Checkmate In Justice League she's part of Project Cadmus
I associate her evil workings as part of the Justice League from both shows. So the first thing that came to mind when I saw her, "Is DC going to complete with Marvel's Avengers movie with a possible Justice League movie?" She is the doctor that introduces Hector to the alien, Abin Sur. Amanda Waller is played by Angela Bassett.
And yeah, kind of cheesey way for the bad guy to go.
Also, the first 3 aliens to kick the bucket, reminded me of the Martian Manhunter. So from the get-go, I was thinking Justice League. And I'm betting Sinestro crashed their spaceship - but it's never told why they crashed. I'm thinking flashbacks in the sequel.

Justice League cant hold a candle to The Avengers, way more people know about The Avengers then the JL. I cant see Christine Bale being Batman for a JL movie either.
