I. Overview: Event: Cathedral of Pain Trial (1 hour timed Trial)

Anyone that is not signed up and still wishes to join is encouraged to head to Pocket D between 8:00 & 8:30pm.
Upon arrival send tell to base access member for your team and await invite.
Wait in Pocket D or MDK Supergroup base for teams to assemble.

There are also at least seven known standbys.
III. Strategy:
A. Courtyard of Shadows:1. Gather with your team near obelisk and wait for other teams to ready.
2. Clear Rularuu spawn and drop the obelisk's shield.
3. Target obelisk and drop to 20% health. (There is a special pop up window for obelisk health)
4. Again clear Rularuu spawn and drop the obelisk's shield.
5. Target obelisk and defeat it. (Assuming all teams are on pace)
6. Once all 3 obelisks are defeated within 30 seconds of each other, the portal to the cathedral will open.
Some timing adjustments will likely be needed here, the
key point is that all three obelisk be defeated at the same time. B. Inside the cathedral1.) Each team will be assigned a cube
2.) Teams will simultaneously begin assault on mobs at each cube. Once mobs are destroyed, shield will drop and AV will be vulnerable for 45 seconds. Mobs will then respawn at cubes.
3.) Each team must go to their assigned cube a fast as possible once the shield goes up and the Rularuu spawn.
3.)One melee toon to return to teams' cube slightly early to help localize spawns for quick killing.
4.)All -Regen debuffs on AV when shields drop!
C. Lanaru the MadThere are two options for AVs in the trial,
IF the much more troublesome Lanaru the Mad spawns a couple special considerations I would like to mention.
1)Ranged toons stay at range!
2)Ranged toons huddle together when shields drop!
3)If by 3rd shield drop it is apparent we are not making progress, I will call off trial and attempt a 2nd attempt hoping for Ruladak the Strong spawn.

Timing is critical in this trial, need to make sure you are where you're supposed to be, and attacking the right things at right times.
