Well Libby and I were on last night on "our" server, thanks to Tinks info about the mission thing we were able to be on the same mission, the only downfall with that was having to do every mission 2 times then, and those are some long winded talkers.
The map is what is really bugging me right now, its very complex, it looks like I am right next to someone, but because of how its layered I am actually very far from the mission or person.
I am still on the fence about becoming a subscriber to the game, I may do the 60 day one time charge, just to see if its easier with all the options, but then I am not even sure if that will get me everything or just make me a preferred member.
I am still looking for a box copy of The Secret World, since trying to download the 3 day free trial is setting off my EST anti-virus for some reason

When do the mission the 2nd time, you can hit SPACE BAR to jump to when you make decisions. Also, when you hit contacts (the people that give you missions), the entire team can particapate in the discussion, they just have to be close to each other. The only thing is, it seems, everyone has to wait until everyone makes a decision for the conversation to continue - you get Social pts for this (still not sure what they are for). If teamed, those higher levels may get contacts before those with lower levels. You might want to wait until everyone is the same level to take advantage to the coop conversations. At least with the map, you have an idea which direction all your points of interest are at once. It may be overload. I just opted for the 60 day non-renewing sub, cause I figure 60 days is a good trial period, you get access to everything (see link), and apparently you level faster. You get to make a family tree to gain bonuses. The Preferred Status is for making a purchase, but does not give you everything. www.swtor.com/free/features

OK I opened up another free account on Shadowlands to see if playing with the CoH gang has a deciding factor if I will buy or not.

The Shadowlands/MsLibertyToo/Jedi Consular lvl 9
So far I have made a Jedi Knight, Smuggler, and a Jedi Consular. I must say the Jedi Consular is most fun.

Account #1 Shadowlands /Stephie'spikes/Smuggler lvl 10 /Stepain/Sith Warrior lvl 4 /Mythoni/Jedi Knight lvl 1
Jedi Covenant /Marc'abel/Bounty Hunter lvl 5 /Tab'cel/Trooper lvl 3
Account #2 Shadowlands /Spectral'spikes/Troper lvl 10 /Spectrial/Sith Inquisitor lvl 4 /Spectral'eye/Jedi Consular lvl 1 /Stephie-spikes/Smuggler lvl 12
Jedi Covenant /Spectraleye/Smuggler lvl 15
The multi-account is a habit from Meridian59 I never shook. I am trying to play 2 toons at once, but will certainly not being doing that with a real team - the pace is really slow

Well and I got to 10 on our knights. The slow xp gain sucks, and hates all the running around, I gotta admit its getting to me as well. I think the running is the only thing holding me back from subscribing. I'm really close to going over the fence. Is there some sort of travel we have not found yet?

the trainer shows a sprint power at 15 for purchase, but I dont know how much faster that makes you.
Thanks to the link Eye posted, it makes you 35% faster when not in combat

You do get a sprint power right off the bat with a subscription, which helps a little. However, on the starter planets, I try and use the transports between locations as much as possible. And the player power that allows you to call for a transport back to location.
There are vehicles available at higher levels, and I think one you can buy for movement within locations. You'll see people using them in some locations.
Did you both get the datacoms on the planet? And once you get off planet, you can go to Ord and get those. They are minor permanent bonuses.
If you haven't I can take my Smuggler and Trooper over to Tython and show ya, and then go to Ord for those.

Sprint is a great lil power, and you get a Speeder at lvl 25, cost is like 25k for the training (i think) and 8k for the speeder (+90% movement speed for lvl 1 training, +100% lvl2, +110% lvl 3). Toons on Shadowlands: Mazzie (lvl 42 Jedi Sage (healer) ) Cydwin (lvl 38 smuggler (healer) ) Rylyn (lvl 40 trooper,Vanguard (tank) ) Mallenroh (lvl 29 jedi knight,Guardian (tank) ) Ismanie (lvl 37 Sage (blaster) ) Killashandra (lvl 40 Jedi Knight, sentinal (scrapper) ) Xondae (lvl 19 Inquisitor, Sorcerer (healer) ) Azeez (lvl 13 Smuggler, gunslinger (blaster) ) Damsen (lvl 38 Jedi Consular, Shadow (tank) ) H'lia (lvl 19 Jedi Knight, Sentinal (scrapper) ) Harbinger: T'innk (lvl 1 Jedi Consular) K'nit (lvl 1 Sith Inquisitor) I'll haft stop by on Covenant and make a few toons too

I am not sure if we got the datacoms, we are on Ccoruscant and the running around just gets worse on there, giant ass hallways then a huge vertical wall in the middle for no reason so you have to run all the way around it, last night we played for about 2 1/2 hours and I would say at least 30 minutes of that was just running back and forth. The quick travel power is great, but only being able to use it every 2 hours is lame. The speeder bikes are a nice option, but I hate having to play to use them. So far my dislikes currently: Awful Map Way too much running new powers costing credits to learn Trainers are few and far between from what I could tell Advance trainers, I have no idea where those are :-/

I think I got the Live Chat to work, so I'll be able to chat instead of type, which should be faster. Like both of you, the Sith area is all new to me, as my 10+ are Republic. I did get a 10th level toon, but on Shadowlands, cause I thought you were on that server. I chose Sith Warrior, cause if we were all Inquisitors we could only get 1 buff. Having a Warrior, we can get 2 buffs, cause I think every little bit helps. I'll put the brakes on next time, and not ghost away. As you could see, there is a difference with just Sprint. Missions - imagine CoH and no one has the star. Choas. Running missions is a bit different here. Buying powers, think of it like buying Enhancements or WW - you gotta spend to be good Advanced trainers are on that circular station, the one you hit before Coruscant. That is when you decide which of 2 options to take for your class. Choose wisely . . . www.wikiswtor.com/Advanced_Classes

So I take it we bailing on the Jedi Convenant server and heading to The Shadowlands?? That was an awesome job by your brother, I know exactly what he did, but I perfer the fix-a-flat. But in your case, that was smart to look for a nail and fix it like that, cause Fix-A-Flat might not work well in your case. And he had a compessor? not many people have those. And no worries about not being on to play, I ran another toon around on one computer and camped the other at the speeder post helping people now and then that pulled some monsters too tough for them. Kallor, does your desktop have the PCI Express slot? I have a VisionTek HD5450, but not sure if I fried it. Have to test it this weekend. Can you tell if it meets the specs, cause I cann't. It could handle 1 session of CoH with limited graphics okay. But still, need to double check it if works as it was part of the computer that crashed :-( www.visiontek.com/products/graphic-cards/5000-series/hd-5450-2gb.htmlThe Motherboard I have is an Intel Desktop Board D875PBZ I went into best buy this past weekend to see if they had anything and it was a no go

Ok I've been pondering this. Other than make classes I have not yet, there is nothing more really to do after 10 with FTP. You level so slow its not worth the effort. I am going to purchase a subscription to fully experience the game.

How did the download go difoj?
I'll be running around on a new Smuggler, E'ye, I created, for a bit. If you did subscribe, send a tell/whisper if you want to continue the Sith adventures.
And I'll be in the Chat room.

I know we were talking Guild names. Maybe something like <something> of Paragon, or Paragon <something> For example, MDK Belles of Paragon Paragon Belles Liberty Fighters of Paragon etc, etc.
