Not being familiar with this group at all, I cant really comment, but I will say that Killer Croc looks pretty good and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is spot on

PG-13 rating has me sad, hopefully the movie will still be good, but with a name like Suicide Squad and the characters, R would be more on point.

PG-13 rating has me sad, hopefully the movie will still be good, but with a name like Suicide Squad and the characters, R would be more on point. Maybe if Deadpool, which is R rated, does well or better than average, they may change it. The general theory is R rated movies don't bring in the cash, cause you limit the audience. And with Super Hero type movies, you want to pander to the PG-13 crowd and get adults curious. Top R-rated movies by cash; (1) The Passion of the Christ - $370M (2) American Sniper - $282M (3) The Matrix Reloaded - $281.5M; The Matrix only had $171.5M (4) The Hangover - $277.3M (5) The Hangover 2 - $254.4M at (10) 300 - $210.6M So if you're going to cover your costs, PG-13 has a better chance. As for PG-13 movies, at (18) Spider-Man 2 beats out all the R-Rated movies with - $373M and you have to get to (79) Fast Five at $209M before the 10th Best R-Rated movie outdoes PG-13.

Well that's not the Enchantress from Marvel, and hope Captain Boomerang does a better job than the guy from Arrow.
At first, I didn't like the new Joker look, but the more I see it, the more it's starting to look okay.

I guess this got popular because of the movie, but wow reaching back some years for the song. So the song that starts playing when you see Harley Quinn (I started a joke), goes back to the late 60's.

The only thing that sort of bothers me about the movie is Will Smith, as I just don't see him as Deadshot, and I like most of Will Smith's stuff. O and Ben as Batman is another thing. If I didn't see the Assault on Arkham movie, I wouldn't have high expections for this movie. But I did, so I'm expecting a little bit more from the movie.

They had a new trailer during Civil War, which I was surprised by since its a DC movie, but I still not sure about this, I read that they were reshooting scenes to make it funnier, since Deadpool did so well, but that is his thing, I don't see anyone, outside of maybe Harley Quinn, being like that.

Rotten Tomatoes has this ranked at 31%, down from 36% not long ago. Not a good sign, considering the Shallows got better rankings. There better be a non 3D showing, cause not paying $17 for a so so movie.

Too much Deadshot, not really being familiar with anyone except for somewhat Harley Quinn, I don't know if the portrayal was true to character, but outside of that, I enjoyed the movie, the pacing, was a usual for DC movie, a little slow, but they did do a decent job of giving everyone a quick origin so you could get to know them, except for the Joker. Margot Robbie was fantastic as Harley Quinn, I can easily see a solo movie for her, she was that good. I thought the movie could use more Joker as he was really just an afterthought, but my friend said that Jared Leto claimed on a talk show, that a lot of his scenes were cut, I don't know the validity of that statement. There is a mid credit scene, which I guess kind of pushes forward the Justice League movie, the internet says there is no end credit scene, so I did not stay to verify. 3.5 / 5

Despite several reviews I read, I also went to see it on the big screen. Didn't enjoy it was much as difjo, probably cause all the "bad" things about the movie stuck out from reading the reviews. Yes, Margot Robbie deserves a solo Harley Quinn movie. Despite what you might think, she probably had the toughest part to play, because so many people love Harley Quinn and her performance will be under the microscope more than the rest. The same Deadshot story played out in the animated Suicide Squad to a lesser extend, so it worked for me in the movie. And one of the fight scenes was a nice showpiece for Deadshot. Saw mid credit scene and didn't stay to see if there was an end one. I'ld go 2.5 / 5 Here are the bad things, that I read in reviews. Background music appeared random, and forced cause it didn't play well with the scenes despite having really good songs. You could of done a Pulp Fiction with many scenes, and the movie would still be the same - the point being that scenes were random. Like when Harley smashes the glass to steal. That scene was just thrown in there, and no work up to it. The romantic relationships - Flag and the Enchantress??? The Joker and Harley Quinn connection seemed too close. I usually see the Joker mostly blow off Harley. However, it almost seems like Harley has the upper hand, because the Joker goes to some extra steps to rescue her, instead of letting her deal with it herself.

Boy DC loves to butcher their movies so they can do a Ultimate/Extended/Special edition of them for the BluRay/DVD releases.
December 13th for the Suicide Squad special edition. I assume it will have more of the Joker as it seems a lot of his scenes were cut, perhaps to make it funnier as was reported earlier in the year since Deadpool did so well.

After reading various reviews and rumor gossip, it seems the people at the top are messing with the movies. If Jared Leto is right that his Joker scenes make the movie better, it was probably top executives that decided to cut his scenes. It would be really cool if DVD/Blu-ray releases included all or most of the cut scenes. Might make people realize that the people putting the movie together had great ideas (or bad), and that top management cut them off at the knees. I know there was a whole list of scenes cut, which you could probably compare against the extended release if you get it. The question is - do they include all those scenes that thee said would make the movie better (but longer), or do they bait and switch you
