A couple of days ago, a friend let me know he's playing on SWTOR (Jedi Convenant server). So I'm starting to play SWTOR again, from the ground up. On the fence about transferring toons from Shadowland to JC. We'll see. Anyone ever go on now and then, or pretty much dead.
And what about Secret World?

Funny you should bring this up. I got board the other day and just happened to start the game up. And just so happens I made a toon on Jedi Covenant. It was the server the game logged into so I just made a toon there. Jedi Consular named Melloris she is level 3 atm.
As far as Secret World? Haven't played in quite a while. Got frustrated not being able to kill things in the main quests, and having to go back and repeat missions over and over to become more powerful.

That's ironic. but i'm playing on the dark side, but still have some lowbies on the lighter side. Considering toon transfers, cause the guild my friend plays with does raids. Not sure I like the PvP events they have, but might try it.
SW is tricky with boss fights. It seems that with Secret World, you have to know the weakness or tactic, and it's a cake walk. I know I tried fighting certain ways just to see if I can win that way, but still lose and I think I have a fairly good build. The Assault Rifle Leech build is fairly good, but very repetitive.

The Secret World kept DCing me so I just gave up on that, not sure what the issue was. Once we went to the secret world I gave up on SWtoR too. Hopefully I can stick with FFXIV until CoT launches, but we will see

I like SWTOR for the combat/action, but SW was great for puzzles and thinking. Although, I keep double tapping in SWTOR thinking I'm going to jump back or to the side to dodge. Both have something. However, I'll probably play any MMO, as long as there are people like you guys to play with. Hope our schedules workout better when CoT goes live or beta. I'ld go to FFXIV, but I might hold difoj back from power leveling What server are you on again??

If there is a way to power level in this game I don't know what it is, but I am on Primal sever world is Malboro, since that was the server my friend was on As far as Secret World? Haven't played in quite a while. Got frustrated not being able to kill things in the main quests, and having to go back and repeat missions over and over to become more powerful. That's because you never took that off hand weapon despite my and Eye's pleas to do so or if you did you did it way late in the game

I'm still playing SWTOR, and joined my friend's guild, which runs upper-to-end game Ops missions, and participates in World Boss battles (remember the million+ health monster roaming Section X). Had to add Vent and ParSec to my computer, cause they use vent to give directions during battle which makes it soo much easier than typing. Depsite having a level 55, my gear makes me super squishy, cause we didn't work thru all the Oricon missions to get the latest gear. Plus, had to redo my skills and powers, cause of forced respec. Still trying to figure out a fighting combo that works for me. In the meantime, feel like a such a noob, cause the lingo makes references to things we never got to or didn't exist when we played. Here is a quick short on my Ops missions I've done. (1) A Dred Fortess raid on Oricon (that last planet added b4 we left) and I made it thru to the end boss, but took instructions from vent on what to do. However, during a final boss fight I started noticing everyone running off the dirt patch to the surrounding concrete walkways, and thought I better move to. However, my fingers were stilling hitting fight combos and I got one shotted but a new spawning mob, just as someone on vent said get off the dirt. So I figure I rez at the med location and run back, but when I did I got thrown out of the phase and could not get back in until the final boss battle was over and lost out on any loot, which totally sucked. (2) Another Ops mission you take from the Fleet, now and then I was told to stay back, and for good reason. Got plasterd 2 times in normal mob attacking, then I got really noobie - during a normal mob attack, I accidently targeted another nearby mob and did a jump attack - so there I am Mr Super Squishy leaping away from the group to attack another mob, but I survived (but my ego took a hit). Then inside a building with catwalks, I got pushed over the rails to my death, just as someone on vent said stay by the walls. While running back from the med location, I hear the group talking about fighting the Money Boss, in which they avoid him, cause he really doesn't give you that much money. I get back to the catwalks and all I see are dead mobs everywhere, and I want to get to the group asap. As I'm rushing, I see some standing toons to the side and think that's the group waiting for me, and rush into that room only to discover it's the Money Boss room. Instead of running and luring the mob out, I stand there and take the death, but NO . . . the mob runs out and a few seconds later I hear, Who aggroed the Money Boss!. Luckily, no one was killed in that mess. So during the next phase, I was told to stay put, as the group cleared the next zone. However, someone in that group aggroed a bunch of Champions, and I hear where did all these Champions come from? and there's two voices saying "Step?" (they call me Step, which is short for Stepain). Wasn't me, but I started to venture into the zone as the team got wiped. The only surviving member ran by me as I was looking waiting at the zone entrance. While, I waiting, that person hits a control panel, and a door closes between me and him, but I'm on the zone side and a new mob spawns right on top of me and I die. That would be my last death after that, but during tough fight, it you have the kill shot on a certain villain you get a token, which allows you to press one of several buttons on a control panel (which I had no idea). So, when I got a token, I hear on Vent - Step!hit the blue button! hit the blue button! followed by "Control Panel in the middle!" Got to it in time, cause I hear "Thank god" on vent. Then managed thru the other boss battles and the final multi-end boss battle. So adventures in noobland for me

Yea I am having the same issue with the guild I am in, they are always running Hard Mode duties and talking about their gear level being at 100-110 and I just sit there with my gear level at 54 , there is so much to do in this game though, I do like the fact that if you want you can just make 1 character and you can make it be able to be every class in the game. I for now am just specializing as my Monk not sure if I will become a jack of all trades yet, seems like that would be very costly. On the plus side I have yet to get myself stuck on anything and with my history of getting stuck all the time, that is amazing
