If it's available, I'll probably watch a few episodes, too.
Too bad they didn't have Smallville and Gotham running at the same time, or Arrow for that matter, and if the Wonder Woman show survived, you could of had 4 DC TV shows running and crossed them over.
Problem is, what happens when you go from small screen to big screen. Worked for Star Trek.

So I watched the first episode today, a few things I did not like about the show: 1. Batman looks to be about 9 years old while Cat Woman and Poison Ivy seem to be 12-17, to me they've always been around the same age if Batman was not older. 2. The Riddler being a cop or something to that effect 3. I can only see Michael Caine as Alfred I did enjoy the Penguin, he really looks like a young version of himself. I may watch a few more episodes before I write it off completely

Well this episode said that Cat was 13 so my original age time frame was a little off so I guess I can strike point 1 off of my con list

I really don't like the Alfred/young Bruce Wayne dynamic they have going on the show, I don't know if its the actor that plays Alfred or what, but he just kills the show so far for me, otherwise it is a pretty good show

OK I'm a little confused at what the time frame it is here. When you look at the cars, clothes, furnishings, and even the mannerisms, you roughly get late 60's early 70's. And yet in episode 5 a kid on drugs with superhuman strength hauls off an ATM machine from a corner market.
Although ATM's did exist in the late 60's they were only in prestigious banks like Lloyds, Essex. Brentwood High Street banks of England. On September 2, 1969, Chemical Bank installed the first ATM in the U.S. at its branch in Rockville Centre, New York. You would not find them in the neighborhood corner market.

I would call the Timeframes used in comics as "fluid". There's usually an attachment to a "style", but with more modern enhancements. Imagine talking to a Mexican that is speaking English, but uses Spanish now and then. If Google Maps had any "real" street imagines from Cuba would could see a 40-50's era style in cars, with modern buildings and ATMs.

This season is going to be interesting, Liking the fact they are moving towards the villains. Even Gordon showing his dark side.

That "kid" they have as the Joker is pretty good at acting crazy, I enjoy his laugh. The rest of the Maniax I don't know who they are supposed to be. The GCPD is weak getting slaughtered so easily . I keep thinking they are teasing Barbara as turning into Harley Quinn when she showed up at the police station, it looked like she was wearing red gloves and I though she was going to take off the jacket in the alley and show off the costume.

I thought the exact same thing with Barbara. But it doesn't go well with her being Batgirls Mother. But then again I don't Barbara was jailed in the comics. When the criminals were all lined up I thought maybe they were introducing the Suicide Squad. Heh only time will tell.

Ok I've come to the conclusion that none of these villains that are being introduced are who you think they are. Example: First season villains introduced were Oswald Cobbelpot, The Penquin Edward Nygma, The Riddler Selina Kyle, Catwoman Ivy Pepper, Poison Ivy Harvey Dent, Two Face This season I believe we are to believe that this group of villains is the Suicide Squad, yet they call themselves Maniacs. Jerome Valeska, The Joker ? Barbara Kean, Harley Quinn ? Tommy Bones, Killer Croc ? Their names from comics are: Joe Kerr, Jack Napier, The Joker.... Although these maybe aliases there was never a Jerome Valeska Dr. Harleen F. Quinzel, Harley Quinn Waylon Jones, Killer Croc They didn't change names in first season why would they start now? What do you think?

Joe Kerr
I know a lot of times TV shows drift away from the books they are based on so that way everyone can be surprised and not spoil stuff, I know they do that quite often with The Walking Dead, sometimes for better, sometimes for worst. Besides the Joker, the rest of the Maniax aren't well known as the rogue gallery for Batman, well maybe Harley Quinn is now, but it always wasn't like that, so maybe they feel they can switch it up and no one will know

See I told you...... Not the Joker But he is...here is what is going to happen: The girl with the whip is upset that her brother is making the moves on her woman, Barbara Quinn , but she cant bring herself to kill her brother because, literally, bros before hoes , so then she goes on a quest to revive the non-Joker Joker, which will lead to the introduction of Ra's al Ghul and the Lazarus Pit which will be used to bring non-Joker Joker back to life and he will end up most likely killing brother and sister and maybe Barbara Quinn or Barbara Quinn will use her womanly charm to have the non-Joker Joker not kill her. End Scene

Ok how about this?
Galavan claims to be a member of the family who built Gotham. Ra's al Ghul claims to have built Gotham. Galavan introduces his niece, Silver St. Cloud to Bruce.
So here it is Galavan is Ra's al Ghul's brother. And Silver St. Cloud is Nyssa al Ghul.
So the pit could come into play but I doubt it. Just doesn't go with Joker's back story. I don't think we have seen the Joker yet.
As far as Harley Quinn. Barbara? No the age just isn't right. Harley at this time would be younger. Possibly younger than Bruce. If you stay with Barbara as Quinn then by the time Bruce becomes Batman Barbara Quinn would be an old lady. Just doesn't work.

Real nice ending to this story arc, didn't expect what happened to go down like that, but I think it was the right choice. Once they did an overall storyline, the show really got much better. Good tease for the spring "season"

Very disappointed that they brought back Fish Mooney at the end of the season. Overall this season started out good, but they resolved a lot of the storylines a little too quick. Excited to see how all the "monsters" that got released at the end of the season play into the upcoming season and if Gordon isn't going to be around as he is looking for Leah
